Georgia Family Law Reform is guided by the following core principles:
1. We make every effort to be gender neutral. Both mothers and fathers have been the victims of this system. However, we are not going to avoid making conclusions based on the data. For example, the data is clear in that mothers get custody the vast majority of the time.
2. The current system has existed for 40 years because people have been unwilling to spend the time and effort to change it. It is not because the system is the best we can get.
3. Documentaries and social media posting are not going to change it. Hard work and perseverance will.
4. There are some bad actors. But for the majority of people, they are acting in their own self-interest. We are not going to demonize people but we are going to call out untruths and lies.
5. The only way to start fixing the system is to get data on it. Data, data, data
6. While each state has its own rules and regulations, there are undeniable patterns among the states.
